Hello, my name is Shelly and my aim is to provide you with the highest quality of private counselling and hypnotherapy in Leicester. I have a warm and friendly rural retreat in South Leicestershire, where I can offer you the chance to experience therapy in a discreet, professional and therapeutic setting away from the turmoil of everyday life.
I am fully qualified and experienced BACP Counselling Practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist, having studied and completed the Counselling Advanced Diploma accredited to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, which is the only officially recognised government organisation for counsellors. It is most important to remember that we are all individual beings, as a counsellor and hypnotherapist I can give you some indication of what can be discussed, it is by no means limited to these issues. Together, our goal from the Counselling and Hypnotherapy services available to you, can help to release you from emotional tribulation, mental confusion and enhance your life. Counselling and Hypnotherapy will arm you with the opportunity to become more self aware and to live life more fully.
I have a keen interest in helping adults of all ages and backgrounds. Areas in which I have particular therapy experience include hypnosis for weight loss, stress, anxiety and emotional issues. Concerns with family, partners and colleagues. Pain management, gastric band hypnotherapy and I run a very successful stop smoking with hypnosis clinic here in Leicester.
You will find me professional, relaxed and friendly and my rural retreat is easily located in South Leicestershire, within easy reach of Oadby/Wigston/Knighton, Countesthorpe, Market Harborough, Leicester City Centre and Northampton. I am committed to providing counselling and hypnotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment. For your assurance, as a registered BACP accredited therapist I am bound and work within BACP’s ethical and professional guidelines and hold full Personal Liability Insurance as well as enhanced CRB clearance. I am also available for Counselling and Hypnosis in Leicester city centre.

As a member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am bound by their Codes of Ethics and Principles of Good Practice. This includes undertaking continuous professional development in my career and I attend various seminars annually.

My clinic is based in rural South Leicestershire, within easy reach from Market Harborough, Rutland & Oakham, Northamptonshire, Countesthorpe and Lutterworth. It is also easily accessible from Oadby, Wigston and Knighton in Leicestershire.
